The last AGM was held on the 11th of May 2011. Speakers were P.C. Barry Gosling (Policing on the Heath) who spoke on various issues affecting residents and Eric Watson (Views from the Saddle) about his cycling advantures in Europe. A raffle & quiz with prizes gave light relief from the business of the AGM.
Neighbourhood Watch, along with other organisations, had a stand at the Canford Heath Community Fun Day held on an August Bank Holiday at the Beacon Centre Mitchell Road.
An informal thank you and recruitment evening with Cheese and Wine was held one evening at the Canford Heath Library Mitchell Road. It was an enjoyable and fruitful event with several new contacts being made and many useful comments were made and to help increase membership across the estate and help with our planning for the next year.
